I am about to embark on a journey.
No, I’m not talking about the vacation that starts tomorrow.
I’m talking about something much more dangerous, fraught with peril, where I might lose everything.
I am going text book shopping.
It’s like a treasure hunt except when you find the X you drop money down into the hole instead of digging up gold.
Wish me luck, dear friends, luck and cheap used copies.
Oh good god. SWEAR YOU’LL COME BACK IN ONE PIECE.
Textbook book stores are frightening places. I hope you manage to find ridiculously cheap versions of every book you need ; v ;
That’s just it though! You can find all the cheap versions possible and the total still comes out to be $How The Heck Can Used Books Cost This Much.
It’s like, while you’re shopping, you think it’s a good deal. Like, “Wow! I can buy this for $7 as opposed to the $25 the bookstore is charging me! What a bargain!” Then you have all your books and you go to check out and the total is $LOL Now You Have No Money Left.
But thank you. ;u; I shall try to come back in one piece. (At least I got that huge text book for under $1. If nothing else, I shall treasure that victory forever.)
